One of our newest colors, this silver color works well in any flame, reduces well, and produces almost every color of the rainbow.

One of our newest colors. If this is worked long and hot, it will turn a beautiful ivory.

Blue Flambé

Bright and lively blue and plays, beautifully as a surface color in sculpture. Work in a neutral flame, not too oxidizing for this one. Part of the beauty is in the haze that develops, yielding sky blues and purples and bright, royal blues. Generally develops beautifully just as it is works.

Green Flambé

This is one of our newest colors and is a green, blue silver color that works well in any flame and reduces well.

Cobalt Blue

One of the most appealing basic colors, is easy to work with and is little stiffer than other transparent colors. Cobalt can take lots of heat. Avoid reducing flame. Neutral flame works best.

Blue Lightning

A cobalt based color which contains silver. This color strikes to opal with greens, blues and whites.

Rainbow Blue

Nice dark blue glass with violet overtones. Work in a neutral flame and finish with a light reduction.

Striking color with a very nice light green, blue and purple.

Silky Satin Blue

A very stable semi transparent blue with a touch of green that works easily in all flames. When encased has a light silky sheen.

Lustrious Blue

A rich blue with a fantastic metallic sheen when incased with clear. Be careful not to over work. Not suitable for deep encasements. Try combining with Silver Beach and Silky Satin Blue or just combine with Silver Beach.  Neutral flame and work cooler seem best.

Crystal Blue

This is a beautiful transparent blue. Very clear blue and easy to use color. No boiling issues. Use an oxidizing flame, as you can get some slight red reductions with this glass.

Aurora Borealis

A very smooth, easy to strike Silver glass with fine sparkle blended throughout. Ideal for sculpture. It has a range of bold greens, blues, creams, browns, and purples with deep transparent burgundy.

Exotic Citrus

Yellow: Nice lemon color with some amber colors coming through. Blows out nice and easy. Friendly, easy striking.

Exotic Citrus

Grapefruit: This is the most red of the Exotic Citrus family. This strikes easy with lovely pinks, reds and creamy greens.  Not bubbly or boily, works great in deep encasement. This is a favorite.  Strikes deeper in the kiln.

Lemon Yellow

Lovely yellow color, resist boiling. Beautiful with slight translucency to it is brilliantly easy to work. If it does boil on you a bit, just let that area cool and then dip in and out of the flame a few times. It is good is to use it as a base to lay stripes over it.

Sunshine Yellow

A beautiful opaque yellow. This glass works great for all applications. Heat this slowly to prevent boiling.  Use a neutral flame.

Sunset Orange

An opaque orange that works great for all applications.  Neutral flame.  What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG).

Pumpkin

A strong orange with just a hint of green that works great for all applications. Slightly darker than Sunset Orange.

Martini Olive

It is the lighter of our two opaque greens. Care must be taken to prevent boiling.  Use a neutral flame.

Guacamole

A nice saturated opaque green. WYSIWYG. Less yellow than Martini olive.  Use a gentle neutral flame.

Sea Green

Light to medium transparent color that will not reduce.  Neutral flame.  Easy to work with and gives very nice green color.

Green Pearl

A mossy color that has a silky sheen. Repeated temp cycles causes a crystal growth which when large enough cause cracking. Reducing or overworking this color can result in incompatibility issues.  Not ideal for deep encasement.  Work middle to cool flame to avoid bubbles.  Slight oxidizing flame seems best.  Worth the time to work carefully – this is a beautiful color.

Ivy Green

This is a beautiful rich opaque green. A true green, and very friendly. WYSIWYG.

Silver Pine

This is a nice opaque green with silver in it. You can achieve some lovely blue and green transparent luster's.

Pistachio (M)

One of our newer greens, this has a beautiful light yellow-green translucent color. Use as a stunning base color for beads, or as a backdrop for other colors.  Work cool for deep encasements to minimize bubbling.  When used in small pieces, the color can appear a lovely ivory; in larger volumes, the color takes on a pleasant green glow.

Green Envy

A very rich transparent green that develops faint wispy blue under strong oxidizing flame.  Neutral flame to surface color tends to opacify while interior color surfaces develop a range of colors from tan to blue. Careful not to reduce, it will give an opaque red to exposed surfaces.

Green Dragon

Extremely smooth semi-transparent olive green sparkling green color with pearl essence.  Start with a cool flame and then this glass can take any flame well.  Not appropriate with deep encasing.

Plum Harvest

Dark transparent violet that results in a violet-black tone and purple hues.  This works easily in flame atmospheres.

Silver Iris

Is a beautiful dark purple with lots of silver that is not affected by strong oxidizing / reduction flame. Get lovely blue/purple haze with annealing.  The color intensity increases in larger work with more vivid colors.  A popular color combo is Silver Iris and Magic Mirror.

Violet Iris

Transparent purple/violet with a lot less silver than Silver Iris.  This is a great color for thick applications, sculptural work, and blow-outs.

Black Rose

An intense black with a dark rose violet undertone.  Surface can get a little grey in heavy reducing atmosphere; recommend neutral to oxidizing flame.  Black Rose is stable, durable and smooth.  Thinning can result in transparent color.

Obsidian

A strong dark cobalt blue that does not thin out.
Avoid reducing flame. Neutral flame works best.

Alaska Night

Blue-black striking color that changes into black, blue, gray, dark purple and bright blue. It’s wonderful in all applications. A fun color to work with that can develop silver reflective with a metallic sheen. Try this encased with a reducing flame.

Silver Beach

A fast striking purple that is great for all applications. Oxidizing and neutral flames will give you dark purples, amber, yellows and blues.  Silver Beach has stable color in deep encasement.  This is a favorite.  Experimentation can yield surprising colors in pink, peach and green.

Light Purple Haze

Nice light transparent yellow with a purple haze which can develop a light white and yellow mix.  A reducing flame will give the surface a metallic sheen.  This color seems light from within.

Silver Tears

Encased under an oxidizing flame gives transparent golden amber veils with a faint bluish reflective quality and you can get a mirroring iridescence on the surface.  Inside outs can give anything from amber to steel grays. Under neutral flame, surface colors can get a bit darker.

Almond Nugget

A light almond colored glass that when encased and using an oxidizing flame has inside veils of ambers to wispy blues but become more opaque with a reducing flame. Un-encased colors are lighter amber.  Pulls thin, stays creamy, and nice for deep encasements.

Magic Mirror

Swirling honey with wisps of blue-purple and silver reflection. Blown out it tends to be a nice amber honey color. Outside work, with an oxidizing flame, gives a slight mirroring and iridescence.

Purple Thunder

This is a strong striking purple; very easy to strike. Beautiful pinks, rose, blue, creams and purples.  Use an oxidizing flame. Best results are with some flame striking.

Stormy Weather

This rich opaque silver color combines purples, blues, violets, fuchsia, greens and other earth tones and is a favorite of many artists.  Easy to strike; try selectively cooling and striking for different effects.  This color is great as stringer, backdrop or by itself; excellent in marbles, sculpture or larger applications.  One of Momka’s Best.

Charles Brown

Transparent brown. This easy to use color has a smooth consistency and is great for sculpture and color blow outs.  WYSIWYG.

Brown Glitter

This rich sparkly brown is very saturated and works smooth.
Use a slightly reduced flame or oxidizing to neutral - melts & flows smoothly. The reflection of the sparkle will pick up adjacent colors.  Don’t overwork or deep encase.

Cinnabar

A striking color that is a dark shade of ruby. It develops its permanent color while working and doesn’t overstrike.

Carmen Red

This is a brilliant rich red that works easily and is stable. It can loose intensity if it is over heated.  Carmen Red needs to be worked in an oxidizing flame.  Good in all applications and is very good for inside-out work.

Violet Hue

It's a fun color to work with, because so many effects are possible. Working it slowly in a neutral to reducing atmosphere gives you hazy purples and greens and milky colors. Working fast in a hot, oxidizing environment gives you corals and raspberry reds, with some purple highlights.

American Beauty

Beautiful deep transparent striking red that works well in deep encasements and is a fast self-striker.  This is nice for surface work and un-encased can give you some blue-purple sheen.  Use neutral or oxidizing flame.

Cherry Brandy

An earthy red opaque color that strikes to multiple red hues. This creamy color is easy to work, but needs a neutral flame.

Moonlight Sonata

This multi-color rod has wonderful hues of blues, reds, whites and greens with a wispy pearly stripe. This glass works great in all applications.  Moonlight Sonata makes a fast and beautiful cane when twisted.

Autumn Leaves

This multi-color rod is an opaque red, orange, yellow and green combined into one rod. This glass works great in all applications and makes a fast and beautiful cane when twisted.

Autumn Swirl

This multi-color rod combines red and green combined into one rod for a late autumn look.  Autumn Swirl works easily an all applications.

Rhapsody In Blue

This multi-color rod contains a symphony of cool hues of blues, emeralds and teals that dance and swirl through the rod.  This glass works well inside and out, encased and un-encased.  This makes a great twisty.

This multi-color glass has eight distinct bands of blues, reds, green and striking colors separated by clear.  Easy to use, and makes a great twisty.

Caribbean Coral

This color produces a wonderful array of color swirls varying from salmon, corals, lavenders and purples. Work this glass hot with an oxidizing flame and the metals come out to play.  Flame striking produces bolder colors.

This multi-color glass reds, blues, greens, and white colors. This smooth and easy to work colorful rod offers new design options. Use cool flame if you want to keep the vivid colors.

Infinity II Coral Snake

This multi-color glass has eight bands separated by clear. This one we playfully call coral snake.  It is a yellow-dark blue-reddish combination that is easy to use and twists well.

Blue Treasure

This multi-color glass offers blues and yellows that combine to make a wonderful murrini for flowers, jellyfish caps and realistic eyes that work best with a contrasting color.  A myriad of color effects when deep encased.  Experiment with this one; twisties, stringer, ghostly effects are all great.  A favorite for ring making.

Amethyst Ice

This multi-color glass consists of two bands of plum harvest and two bands of a cream/white color.  This color creates very unique effects in sculptural work; is great for quick canes for coil-pots and inside-out work.  This rod makes detail very easy.

This multi-color glass is a favorite with sculptural artists and has blue, orange and black silver reactive colors. Use a oxidizing flame for best results.

This multi-color glass is a whirl-wind of yellows, reds and oranges all separated by a bit of black.  The colors are rich and intense.  Easy to work and just screams out: wig-wag.

This multi-color glass has two stripes of dark black, two stripes of red with thin separations of creamy white color. This bold color is easy to work and does best in a neutral flame; great in all applications.

Sunflower

Challenge series yellow color, can be cut into murrini and has great versatility.  Pull into various sized stringer, even very thin stringer will hold its color and make beautiful flowers.  Sunflower is stable, but needs to be worked cool in deep encasement to avoid bubbling.

This multi-color glass of silver and blue is a highly reactive striking color, that’s fully incased in clear. Use any flame.

Gerber Red

Challenge series color.  Works well in deep encasements, but use a soft flame to avoid boiling.  Like all the challenge series colors, this can be used as murrini, twisties, coil pots and the rest.

This multi-color glass can range in colors from brilliant striped pastel blue with hints of yellow to creamy tan with stripes of blue when deep encased. Twisties can also be struck to purples and blue and used in rings or wraps.  Experiment with this color – it’s potential seems limitless.

This multi-color glass of vibrant blue and bright yellow is stable in deep encasements, and the yellow appears more lemony.  Twisties can be pulled thin and the pattern remains clear.  This glass works easily in all applications.

This multi-color glass in red, blue and tan will put you in the mood for Carnivale!  Stunning effects are possible with twisties of this color used in coiled beads or lip wraps; stable, smooth, easy to use and beautiful in deep encasements.

Yellow Submarine

This vivid multi-color rod has thick stripes of rich yellow and deep blue.  This glass works beautifully in deep encasements and melts easily and smooth.  When twisties of this color are laid over Momka’s Obsidian, the yellow patterns seem to float – a sweet effect.  Use stringers for stripes and twisties for latticino.  Layer over other colors for interest – the clear in the cane allows the underlying color to shine through.

Mystic Rose

This multi-color cane has stripes of rose separated by clear that are wonderful to use directly or as twisties.  Striking can produce dark red/pink colors and some light creamy almost yellow hues are possible.  This needs to be worked in a cooler than normal flame.  Strike once for deep ruby reds, for pinks, leave unstruck; can be difficult to restrike to ruby if overworked.  Some wisps of blue and purple are possible.

Cloud

It is smooth and easy to use. The colors it yields range from translucent amber to an opaque cream with a hint of green undertones. The longer it is worked, the more opaque it becomes. Wonderful for all applications. In larger pieces, this color can reveal its beautiful cloud-like swirls or striations.

Scarlet Pink

Use to work Scarlet Pink in a neutral flame and when finished, flame strike the pink. It works perfect outside, it is kind of a sister to Violet Hue, it only gives more pink purple, and sometimes if you reduce slightly receive very nice effect. It's a fun color to work with, because so many effects are possible. Working it slowly in a neutral to reducing atmosphere gives you hazy purples and greens and milky colors. Working fast in a hot, oxidizing environment gives you corals and raspberry reds, with some purple highlights.

Sparkly Thunder

Smooth and easy to strike Silver glass with sparkle blended throughout. Ideal for sculpture. Range of greens, blues, creams, browns, and purples with burgundy undertones are possible. Clear coat will magnify the sparkle. Need to use with care, when deep encasement. Recommended highly oxidized flame.

One of our newer pinks, it has a beautiful light pink translucent color. Use as a stunning base color for beads, or as a backdrop for other colors. Work cool to minimize bubbling. When used in small pieces, the color can appear a lovely ivory; in larger volumes, the color takes on a pleasant pink.

Winter Sky

It makes a beautiful translucent overcoat and is easy to work with. This periwinkle blue is clean and non-fading it has bubbles, much like seeded glass, that sink’s below the surface and add to this color's charm. It has a glowing quality in person. Truly stunning

Violet Medley

This color is quickly becoming a favorite. It is similar in many ways to Stormy Weather, but it gives more orange tones, which makes for a very intense, saturated “pop”! Work it hot, in a neutral flame. The colors will develop as you go. When you’re finished, if you want to bring more purples out, strike in the back of the flame. Building up some haze will give blues and teals and greens.
